Rest and Restore Protocol™ (RRP)
Rest and Restore Protocol™
Move from stress and fatigue towards balance, recovery, and rest. The Rest and Restore Protocol is a clinical-grade listening therapy that helps your nervous system rediscover its natural rhythms and find its way back to a place of genuine rest.
Rest and Restore Protocol™ is an innovative, clinical-grade listening therapy based on homeostatic entrainment within a behavioural neuroscience framework. It guides the nervous system back toward homeostasis by restoring internal physiological rhythms — supporting the shift from stress and fatigue toward balance, recovery, and restoration. Developed by Anthony Gorry and Dr. Stephen Porges , Rest and Restore Protocol™ is informed by decades of research in autonomic regulation, rhythmic entrainment, and sound-based approaches. It is suitable for lifespan care, supporting clients from young children through to seniors (ages 2–100+).
Many clients carry underlying physiological challenges that quietly interfere with their ability to rest and regulate. RRP may be a supportive option if you notice:
Chronic stress and fatigue — persistent exhaustion or low energy, even after rest
Sleep challenges — difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking feeling refreshed
GI and gut-related issues — discomfort, irregularity, or tension connected to stress
Emotional imbalance and anxiety — overwhelm, heightened vigilance, or difficulty finding calm
We believe RRP is an invaluable tool that can help you and/or your child achieve greater emotional well-being.
RRP tends to be most supportive for those who feel disconnected from themselves, or who experience more internalising or somatic patterns — the physical, felt sense of stress held within the body. If persistent exhaustion, restless sleep, or a nervous system that feels perpetually on edge sound familiar, RRP may offer a meaningful path back towards rest and a deeper sense of self.

Trauma and the Nervous System: A Polyvagal Perspective
Polyvagal Theory | RRP Brochure | What is RRP | Integrated listening
RRP is informed by decades of research in autonomic regulation, rhythmic entrainment, and sound-based approaches. Early pilot data is already showing encouraging results. Further clinical trials are currently in development, building on this promising foundation.

How RRP supports your nervous system
Targeted areas
RRP works with your autonomic regulation, internal rhythmic coherence, and the subdiaphragmatic processes that contribute to balance and self-regulation, the quiet, foundational rhythms that help you feel settled from within.
How it works
Through the entrainment of your homeostatic, endogenous biological rhythms, RRP gently encourages your nervous system to find its own natural sense of coherence and calm. Rather than pushing the body towards regulation, it invites it, working with your system's own internal intelligence.
Delivery
RRP is delivered as ten 30-minute tracks, typically experienced in 30-minute listening sessions and spread across 10 to 30 days. This gentle, unhurried pacing gives your nervous system the time and space it needs to restore at its own rhythm.
Equipment
RRP can be listened to through headphones, earbuds, or speakers (though not computer or phone speakers), so you can create a listening environment that feels calm and comfortable for you.
